according to the thread their classes were never restored though?

 

they would've been, had it been possible.

 

i fail to see how it proves anything, then, considering no alternative form of compensation was offered (from what it seems)

I had a friend who had the same problem and lost 2 classes, that in the end couldn't be restored

(a crafstman with all prof 110 if that can show even more gravity I guess)

 

This is a fairly known bug for some time now, I'd say it causes slight harm to their reputation as it is an ongoing issue that has (probably) caused a couple hundred stx lost.

 

They weren't forced to do anything, but did a lot anyways. The "other things" were the rest of the cold war.

 

Sorry to hear about this it must really suck, but thanks for letting more of us know about the bug so people can stop it happening to themselves :)
