So, what we're learning is that the GM's test their stuff in OP mode, instead of a controlled environment like.. and this might sound crazy, As unop'd, unranked players on Alts given access to build/GM/test server?

We still run through it exactly like a normal player would, so we can test stuff like mob balance and how parkour works with the sprint bar and whatnot. Flying through everything and being invincible or whatever would be ridiculous, that barely even qualifies as "testing". We run through all of our quests and dungeons and such like a normal player, as that's the best way to test it.

I've been on a friend's server before and unless they changed it with plugins on the build server, ops should be able to de-op and re-op other people... Just saying. Not starting any argument cause I'm not like that.

Social media gives 13-year-old restrictions for legal reasons most of the time because they can't always control what content their other users put. Instead they need to put 13-year-old restrictions, and enforce them heavily, just to keep the cancerous and cringe-inducing squeakers off of the website. My sanity is really starting to go on the decline.
