I take out 5 gold but, I give Eradius the gold as soon as he gives me the potion

 

Eradius: "O-Okay?"

Actually no, we're in a magic shop where the shopkeeper can probably sense who's under a spell or when a spell is cast in my opinon that would be a bad idea

You acquire a spellbook for Delayed Bomb:
Touch a living being or animate object. This will prime them, turning them into a living bomb. To activate bomb, press right thumb to middle phalanx of index finger. The explosion will only be detectable via vision.

The lady takes the scroll into the back room. You can see a bit of glowing before she comes out.
Sbelsah Ler: "This is a low level scroll of silence. Using it on a person or item will make them create absolutely no sound for the duration of an hour."

I merge the spellbook into my Tome of Arcane Knawledge (Yeah, I can do that), so it will be easier for me to learn it. + I get to know how to spell is made and I can read it's Arcane code (a.k.a. magic C++ or Python I guess in my case, which btw I barely know).

I get to instantly respond to this bit because I was on this thread, with draft, and I hold the power of ctrl-x.
I can mention that I have come up with and deleted at least five ideas of things I could make happen.
Open-ended actions are the manifestations of my nightmares.

A gust of wind blows past as you exit the alleyway. The streets, rather narrow here, are not very busy right now. It's then that you catch sight of a fast moving procession of men in black cloaks, holding between them an ornate box. Their faces look hurried and suspicious, and that's before they catch sight of you. Fear and hatred fills their faces, and they're prepared for a fight. Two of the largest-looking men, although still rather short compared to you, leave the group and start menacingly walking towards you, ready for battle. The men take off their cloaks, revealing sturdy looking armor and well-made weapons underneath.

"Ya ready to die, big man?"

Sbelsah Ler: "Hmm... That? It only looks to be minor, you cant ell because whoever made it didn't embellish it that much. Either way, a potion that weak would probably go for around 5-10 Gold Coins, depending on the buyer. Personally, I have a lot of them, so I can take it for 5 at max."

 

Leon: (yelling) "Not as much as I am ready to obliterate you backwater fiends! To arms, comrade!"

I rip a piece of my cape off and patch it onto my shield, which spreads to cover most of its surface with the same design as the cape is. The cape regenerates.

"The infinite protects me, demonic scum. Bow before the stars or face the ever-burning sun's wraith!"

Then.. I have a vision: The entire city becomes masses of stars. The shield splits into two, and float through the newly-formed space. The two shield pieces form symbols, the sun and the moon, both glowing. The sun glows with hope and success. The latter glows with fear and doubt. The city begins cracking and withering starting at the moon-decorated shield while the city begins growing and prospering starting at the sun-decorated shield. The black-cloaked men climb on top of each other and trample each other to create a familiar hooded face. The face laughs as it holds one half of the city in each hand and drops the hopeful, prosperous half. The vision fades, but the hooded face remains behind the cloaked men. Waiting.

I raise my mace.
