As you give the scroll to Robert, something odd happens. Namely, the unconscious man on the ground has electricity run through his body, getting up with a start.

The shock manages to wake you up. Standing over you are two massive warriors.

 

Leon: "I was beginning to think he entered the new life, what a shame. That would have been a better fate than this."

I grab the person by the hand and lift them up onto their feet.

"State your name, occupation, and why you were laying unconscious next to two dead cloaked beings."

 

Eradius: "That's none of your goddamn buisness why I was lying next to two dead people. If you're asking about my name and ocupation however...
I am Eradius, the Guardian of the Arcane Knawledge. I would advise to not stand in my way, certainly not when I'm sober."
I push Leon aside and chug healing potion.
Eradius: "If anything I should be asking you questions."
Eradius: "Like why did you bring me to this town?"
I open my Tome of Arcane Knawledge and open on chapter on magical pigmentation.
I cast the spell on my robes changing their color to light blue with purple trim.
Eradius: "Also I hope you didn't touch any of my belogings, becouse last person who did was trying to find their eyeballs."

Leon: "I won't be looking for my eyeballs if I don't have any. Good luck. Wherever you must go."

I'll take the Silver Ring, Silver Rod, Gold Coins, and the Gold Necklace. I'll leave the Book (Vesuia can have it if she wants it) and Eye of Newt to save space, and I'm not stealing a dead person's clothes.

 

In theory? No. I'm doing my best to keep tabs on everyone. Did I actually? Probably. This "School" thing takes a lot of time off of you.
Also I'm stuck with pain in my legs and a limp for like 2 weeks.

Speaking of Vesuia, it's about this time that she re-enters the room.
Vesuia: "I have completed searching the other - eh.. wha- So you found and killed him, then."

 

I kneel in the field and keep watch over the city.

 

Ok I'll take the gold, put on the ring, take the head that I just that I just cut off and look if any of the daggers stand out or are magical

The man walks down the hill into the town. It sprawls by the river,with mountains past. To the right of the town, a massive manor, home and office of the lord of this region, something you heard in town, stands. What's he doing in a time like this? You might never know.

Nope. Looks like one of the guys was just an incredibly unhealthy knife nut. You are now carrying a human head.

It's built out of a rather old stone. Ancient, almost. You can guess that this building has been around for far longer than it has been a weapons shop, and you can see spots where it has been repaired over the ages. The rest of the town fits the same aesthetic, and while you're not great at architecture, even you can guess that this town has been around for centuries or longer.

Huh. That was odd. Either way, you walk down the hill and get your bearings. You can see a forest roughly half a mile to your back, curling around the valley you are standing in with the shape of an L. A valley it is, as to your front, there lies a town by a river, and maybe a quarter mile on the other side of it there lies the beginning of an absolutely massive mountain range, with some large hills coming off the range to your right and meeting the forest. The mountains themselves extend to the left and right as far as you can see, with the river flowing downstream into the valley.

Vesuia: "The.... Ecology of Anteaters? Might be interesting. I can never instantly doubt a literary work. I know a brewer who would pay well for that Eye of Newt. By brewer I should clarify that I mean this strange witch who randomly appears in various settlements. Last I had contact with her, she was somewhere in the marsh by the imperial heartland. Either way, I shall take both."

 

Lazarus: "Very well. Did you find anything of interest?"

 

I walk to town and try to find pub/ tavern.

Leon: (to Robert) "Comrade! That manor, it is the lord's abode. They either must not care for this settlement or are one with the cult themselves. We must consult the ignorant in his own dwelling."

I bring myself to my feet and collect my belongings. Then, I head towards the manor.

 

I concur. I follow.

 

I take the gold and the ring then throw the head at the cultists group that I lured from these guys from and run the other way and after im out of the ally I'll start heading to the tavern trying to blend in
