I was with band playing at the start and halftime of a school football game.
I then watched the game because why not.
We won. Go Eagan High I guess. I've never been one too much for sports.

So I've been gone for the night. I'm back though, so let's get into this.

There are quite a lot of the cultists spread among the crowd, but you finally manage to flag down somebody who isn't a cultist. He looks pretty old, and smells strongly of herbs.
Herb Guy: "I'm kind of having a stressful day. What exactly do you need? Make it quick."

You manage to lure two of them into an alley.
After the spell is cast, you they begin the story.
"The boss is having us make a key for something. The final process called for a certain concoction to be applied onto the key frame. Some people barged into where it was being held and stole it. Leren just got dug out of the rubble, and people are saying he's pissed off. There were allegedly three of them. Two warriors, and once small mouse-person. One of the warriors was larger, with a mace, booming voice, and strange pattern on his equipment. The smaller one had a giant scythe. That's all we know. We're just grunts."

You find your way to the weapons shop. The shopkeeper is a lean but hardened looking young man, with scars all over his body. There are weapons of all kinds in the store, from small knives and shortswords to massive axes and halberds.

Shopkeeper: "Monthly shipment just came in from Kyre, so we got a full inventory. Look around."

 

Leon (whispering/normal tone): "Do you know why these hooded men plague this city? Where have the citizens fled to?"

 

Herb Guy: "Most o' them shuttered themselves in their houses when these guys swooped in. Well, those that didn't join em. You 'ave no idea how many idealistic young lads 'ese people managed to recruit with some blabber 'bout destiny or somethin. Either way, they're in 'ere cause o' tha thing they're workin' on wen't missin'. Kind o' in a panic, right now."

His speech seemed rather normal when he started, but he's now slipping into some kind of accent? Huh.
this clearly isn't foreshadowing of any kind.

 

Dez(thinking):"3 warriors, one with a giant scythe, one with a booming voice, and a mouse...wait maybe its the one from the cult. I'll keep this in mind"

What weapons there would be well-sized for me?

Might I suggest new mechanic to the rp?
I want to suggest Arcane Magic.
Eradius has Tome of Arcane Knawledge, which allows him to learn arcane spells. But why doesn't he ever cast them?

In order to use Arcane spells, one must first master it's basic form.
After one masters basic form of the spell, one can learn it's Arcane variant.
However there's a catch. In order to cast Arcane spell one must be expetionally focused. If one breaks focus even slightly, it will result in serious injury or even death.
Also Arcane spells take much more strength out of it's caster and using it a lot will weaken it's caster.

But the rewards are quite amazing.
If one were to cast basic form of lighting at it's full mastery, one could burn the flesh of their enemy. If one were to cast Arcane lightining for the first time, one could incinerate their enemy. At it's mastery it could melt steel.

So is this good addition to the game mechanics?

I certainly do.
