A bag of devouring that shoots flames? I put it on my back or wherever this bag goes, I have some ideas.

A large hood helps, so I'll put the green one on before the bags.

But my natural scale color is green.

And I have no idea what your natueal scale colors are. xd

 

The green one also has a larger hood so I can hide my face

You put on the Cloak of ??? Ling sees a slightly dim gold, so it's a protection cloak of some kind.
The Bag of Devouring has a strap that puts it on your lower back.

Another small tremor hits as the door slides open, and... Zeth's back, apparently? Huh.

"I can't believe I'm doing this, but I spoke with Matt's boss. Says something weird's going on up near the Capital, wants to send someone. Are you coming?"
He leans against the door as he says this, and in the morning light you can properly see how old he looks. He looked middle aged yesterday, but he's downright elderly right now.
Of course, he gets shoved maybe 1 or 2 seconds later by a man in a crutch and a large amount of bandages. He clearly has potions working in his system, but it looks like he was mauled ten times over.

"Former boss. Ain't doing anything else for Fayuma after that hell she put me through last night. Lizard's the lesser evil. Stay that way and don't take the job."

"I have a private room in the back. Any drinks you want to order?"

I... don't. I just generally assume that you assume that I did the things you asked me to do.
Unless I should just start replying every. single. time. I take an action.

"*Sigh* ...Maybe. Looked like it came from the bloodwood, but it was way too tough to be from there. Monsters that strong... they just don't get this far south. Elves usually kill 'em off."

Sure. What do you think it should be balance-wise? Also, I'm not really a fan of the charging system, so you might want to take that into account.

 

I had no reason to assume that. I guess I will from now on.

First thing I though of was an instant-use grapple that would pull and enemy towards you, able to be combo-ed into an attack. Unless you want something else. I might just scrap the charging system after the pseudo-modular ridiculousness that is the magic system these days.

Another tremor.

Matt: "Your madness only caved my skull in. She had me fight some undead monstrosity that fuckin' mangled me."

Either autocorrect or Dez has some kind of Dezsert accent that's only now popping up.

The man is chilled to the bone, and takes a few seconds to compose himself before he responds.
"I.... I don't wanna think about that. If the elves are gone, we're all dead men walking, not just... not just my crew."

 

Yeah, magic does feel kind of overpowered and overly simple compared to melee combat, especially since there doesn't seem to be any sort of limit on how much magic you can cast.

I like the idea of the instant grapple-stab. How would you word it?
