Well, there would be a good chance the lizardman would just be ignoring you if the invisible thing he was fighting didn't just nearly 1-hit ko him.

I know that you stopped him and not time, but I have a strong urge to make him talk while he's frozen to round out the jojo reference corner. Alas, I'm simply going to write about my intent to do it instead of actually doing it.

Wait... armored warrior, hired to kill you... didn't you tie this guy up at an inn? think it was right before the death squad came in.
He sort of just grunts. You're about to do something when he starts moving the first chance he can try (10 seconds in) and bad things start happening.

"Mage, eh? You won't be so smug when I skin you and cut your jaw off. Oh, you could've lied down and died like any decent target, but you had to make this hard."

Turns out that what looked like a bastard sword is a bit more, too, as he manages to use a tier 3 weapon skill against you. He fires off an [Even Stronger Attack], cleaving through what were probably supple scales before you got caught up in all this. Better get some allies in, quick.

Having the ring of jumping would I be able to jump on to a building or at least reach higher ground? If I can while I'm flying in the air before landing I'll try to use quicksand on him

So I just went through your backstory again and before I go into the meat of it I'll ask this:
Are you happy or sad that Dez was the one who nuked Kyuvaar's academy?
As for the meat, there would usually be some caring bit under the whole "heartbroken old man" bit but you've made clear that said deeper bit is in fact that of a psychopath.

Judging by the fact that you'll cast the yellow-aura'd general ward any second, this fight is edging dangerously close to the case of Edgy Teen v. Construction-Obsessed Gay Vampire, 1989.

Eneny denial is like a delaying damage spell. Or a heal spell basically. Both negate damge if done right. :D

So I have two turns I'll cast 2 flame strikes at him that would deal 30 damage total even with his plate armor it would deal 28 damage and he can't use any skills that would stop me because of quicksand, that's why enemy denial is op

 

I think everything Dez uses needs to be fixed. >.>

 

What's there to fix? Quicksands and hold persons only purpose is to freeze someone in place, and it doesn't work if there are more then one people trying to kill me'

 

It's because a quicksand of I guarentees a 2 turn stun if they're standing on the ground.
Buuuuut. Nothing's stoping you from spamming quicksand to stop everything they do. :/

yeah it wouldn't have worked on the rocks, and it did no diffrence to Zeth to so haven't had a chance to use it for a while
