What's the big deal with that you may be asking? Well, it's because Gavel doesn't discover Wynn until 900AP!!!
Why would they use the AP system in gavel at this time? They don't even know a Portal exist, much less would their years be indicated by it.

Somewhats worse is this appears all around Gavel, people from before 900AP using AP.
Conically, they should have only been using the AP for 100 years at the max, more logically they either shouldn't be using it at all or only after their relations with Wynn grew more important. Salted, fix your game now, before too many people see this, and die of insanity.

You forget that the decay appeared in gavel at exactly 0 ap. Remember ROL 2? Those big black PORTALS in the sky that the parasite came through? Its a stretch but it makes sense.
