Game Design Galleon's Graveyard Problems

    (Spoilers for those who haven't reached Galleon's Graveyard yet)
    In the Galleon's Graveyard Dungeon, the player is forced into an event where you use a cannon to shoot down incoming pirate boats before they destroy your cannon. The boats approach in lanes and can spawn in huge clustered groupings, which are nearly impossible to destroy in time due to the abysmal aiming and adjustment problem the cannon's firing mechanic has. It only works half of the time and if you try to shift the cannon too close to the walls on your sides, it stops working entirely. Not to mention that the cannon will sometimes refuse to fire, even when the cooldown has long since completed.
    This makes attempting to grind this dungeon, or even finishing it once, exhaustingly infuriating. Now I get that this kind of mechanic is difficult to implement in a Minecraft server with only plug-ins and coding. But I've seen other servers manage similar and I can tell that Wynncraft's designers have the skill necessary to pull it off well if they're willing to put in the effort.
    All I ask is for it to be polished a bit further. Perhaps making it so you can aim in a more 180 degrees angle instead of just along the vertical lanes. It certainly needs work in making sure it registers your aiming more accurately and consistently. Please make it so the pirate boats can't spawn in enormous numbers at once so the cooldown on firing doesn't automatically result in a loss.
    It took me nearly 30 minutes to complete this step of the dungeon solely due to these problems. I'm sure this isn't how Wynncraft's devs intended this dungeon experience to go. This server is really great and I have lots of fun playing, I look forward to further improvements in the future.
