Guide Gale & Ohms: Official Information Thread

I was never hear for a reward, i came because it seemed interesting- for plain players, driven searchers, and theorists alike. That comment was made in my dry sarcasm that comes from exhaustion- sorry if it came off the wrong way...

On a side note, if they did make this like ??? Then all 74 pages of this journey would be wiped clean and we'd all get banned for theorizing and sharing info :P

On a side side note, i still havent completed ??? So damn i need to do that to...

 

I wasn't accusing you, I was just saying a lot of players would be doing it just for the reward, you however are an active member that cares, which is the kind this thread needs.

 

We should just wait until the map push, instead of fighting with eachother over where it is when in reality, we probably won't find it until the push.

All jokes aside, although the Letvus Airbase would make sense, nothing was found in my searching, and in other people's. This has also proved true for Ahmsord, several caves in the Sky Islands, the Ice Canyon, and any other place searched. Gale's Tomb is yet to be found. Now, your idea of Vela is nice. Why limit yourself to only the Airbase? Think of other places conceale and hidden. Perhaps we shall get lucky...

We can still search though. With a thorough enough search, any place can be disproven, since the tomb is still accessible as is.

 

I feel like there was a map push, Im finding mobs in Areas that didn't have mobs a few days ago.

 

That's not the same, I think. I believe the staff can update mob spawns while still retaining old maps. I may be wrong. Someone can inform us. Also, Selvut did promise to tell us when the Push occurred. BTW, which mobs and where?

 

Above the Dragon Skeleton by Freezing Heights, there's a ramp behind it with mobs at the top. I hadn't noticed them before and now they swarm a lootchest that was previously unguarded.

I'm not sure if someone stated this earlier in this thread (I'm too lazy to read through all 75 pages :P)

But the word Gale Ohms spell Galoshe
Galoshe, is probably a reference to Abysso Galoshes (Legendary Boots)

It says on the wiki that the village of Sarnific was sunk because of the Abysso Galoshes. So the term Galoshe probably refers to Sarnific

But then if you think about it, if you unscramble Sarnfic, what do you get?
You get the word Cinfras

So maybe Gale's Tomb lies somewhere in Cinfras. Or maybe it's somewhere else :P

 

I think you guys are looking way, way to deep into it with all the rearranged words. A lot of times, a word is just a word, nothing more.

 

Ok guys. Gale's Tomb isn't going to be in somewhere that can be solved by doing unscrambling. Saying stuff like
"OMGEEEEEE CINFRS IS N ARROWW GALZ TOMB IS THERRR" will NOT solve anything. Wynn wouldn't spend a month planning out a location for a tomb by using various coincidences for it's location. They just chose a spot that fits and bam. So quit coming up with stupid coincidences that could possibly point to the tomb and just search for it based off of the real evidence we have.

 

I agree, if there was a builder that was as ignorant to the tomb to almost block it off entirely, its probably not something that elaborate.

I searched through the canyon of the lost for at least a day... i found nothing that hasnt been already discovered ;-;

I mention Galoshe literally 2 or 3 pages ago. Anywhoo, It isn't in Cinfras. We need to expand our field of search!
