The sky islands is the improved mesa biome, in wynn, you do not see the bottom of the mesa zone but you can still get down there and explore. That place is Rymek. (also curiously in the same kind of spot)

there was an castle on an island and near the abandoned mines (both removed now) and I suddenly got reminded of them when you mentioned the castle.

 

I remember that empty castle, I always wondered what would be its use, until it get removed

Nice job on the map.

Unfortunately, the perspective hides a lot of stuff, or makes things confusing.
All the better for when you get lost in the canyons ;)

Actually, it's still in use, you just can't physically reach it (without glitching). It's a backdrop in the boss fight for Reincarnation.

To stay on topic, the area I'm most interested in is the Canyon of the Lost. It somewhat reminds me of the pigman ravine.
