Fruma Idea/suggestion Thing

I didn't know I just heard it from somewhere thus why I was asking. ;-;

 

This would be a good theory, If it wasn't for the upcoming storyline of wynn, from what I've heard the door of time will play a part in the story line of wynn.

 

it seems like a cool idea but i'd honestly prefer a quest where you realize fruma is being attacked by some force and you have to go back there and help with the war

 

More Wynn quests? I thought I was done killing corrupted mobs. ;-;

 

I said nothing about wynn quests, I said there was going to be a story line, well if you think about it is kinda a quest... Yeah.. It kinda is... huh...

 

Why add lore when there's no quests that make you uncover that lore?

Great idea. Although level 100 is pretty high.

 

Maybe whatever the darkness is in Dern invaded and took over Fruma, and now Fruma is part of Dern?
And also, maybe the player finds out that Fruma was destroyed while he/she was in Wynn/Gavel and travels back in time through the Door of Time to try and stop Fruma's destruction?
Still though, if this idea passes maybe despite the player's best efforts, he/she fails to save Fruma and at the end there's this big dramatic moment where you're given a choice: There is a way to save Fruma, though there is one problem. Only the most powerful of magicks will even put a dent in the Time Spell, (idk maybe the time spell is something like the door of time or somtignw ajd) and this magic was deemed so dangerous it was forbidden by the Mage Council. Blood sacrifice, but ordinary blood will not do; only the blood of a purehearted being who will risk all to save innocents can be used. This is your choice, (insert player name), will you sacrifice yourself as the great Bob had once done or will you turn away? The choice is yours.

And also, the lines of dialogue might be given by a NPC, and maybe more dialogue will explain the lore of Wynncraft.

 

Good idea, but for Fruma I'm hoping that the player comes back and finds their homeland engaged in civil war. It would be a good way to use the quest choice system to chose a side.

 

Or what if your mother contacts you and tells you to come home (to Fruma), but once you go to the King of Ragni to get to Fruma, you hear your mother has been kidnapped by some evil corrupted monster and the "Story-line Quests" will be around getting your mom back. And then something with the Ancients for a Theory EXPLOSION

 

That would be cool! :)

Sounds epic, maybe the quest items given to you after the quest are one of two armor pieces depending on your choice. "Help" if you choose to sacrifice yourself. This armor piece focuses on boosting your soul point regen, health regen, and xp bonus. Loot bonus is reduced. This is because your soul is content with your own decision and no longer worries about materialistic things. "Harm" if you choose to live and see Fruma fall. This armor piece focuses on boosting loot bonus, thorns, and exploding. Soul point regen is reduced. This is because your soul is constantly rattled with the sounds of explosions and horror in Fruma. You have become greedy and you realize how much your actions affect others.

Just like An Iron Heart Part 2? Sounds cool.

 

Didn't the staff say that the door of time wouldn't be used to go to another province?
I also find it unlikely that it'll be used for a wynn quest, I like the current story line and it seems like they finished it with reincarnation.
Seems like it's the only source of time magic in the whole land and maybe GavelExcavation want to go back in time to revive Amadel.

Considering it's open, I think that this particular quest or whatever will be added in the "follow up update" coming Soon(TM)

 

Imagine: If this happened, and you pick to sacrifice yourself, your level 100 character would be destroyed in an epic cutscene to save the region of Fruma. Then, another file is made (same class), you get an item that allows access to your next lvl 100 of that class to explore Fruma, do quests, be recognized as the reincarnation of the savior of the province.

 

10/10 idea that goes in suggestions
