Media Flying Trapslinger: How to Solo LI in <10 minutes as a Nonmythic Archer

Since 2.0 dropped, archers have complained day and night about arrow storm recoil. And so, the regular Boltslinger tree takes the Elusive ability to get rid of it.

But then word started getting around that Boltslinger could fly using arrow storm recoil. However, this doesn't really work with Elusive, which won't let you lift yourself off the ground or will make you drop out of the sky while you're flying.

So how do we circle-strafe, which gets messed up by recoil, if we also want to be able to fly at any time?

The answer is simple: walkspeed. With walkspeed, we can still strafe even without Elusive, and we retain the ability to fly.

So I present to you, Flying Trapslinger.

No, you're right though--the damage per storm is definitely quite a bit lower than normal CSpring Boltslinger, but this build's primary purpose is to let you fly whenever you want and spam to your heart's content.

(or you could just call it skill issue, that works too)

I've posted an alternative build as well that sacrifices a bit of ws for more dps (you can use Summa if you don't have sp tomes).

 

most people have tomes, they just don't have the tome slots :skull:
