Flight In Distress - Glitch Help

Have any of you been experiencing the glitch lately of just not being able to go through doors and trapdoors? Because I have, in fact multiple times, but most recently during the quest Flight in Distress. There's a point in the quest where you need to climb some ladders (with trapdoors at the top) to get onto the top of the ship to do a puzzle. But because of this glitch, I can't go up the ladders and onto the ship's roof, thus not being able to complete the quest. Is there any way around this glitch? I've tried /class, /lobby, /kill, and even my movement spell (escape, I'm an archer) but nothing fixes it. What should I do?

 

maybe try to open and close the door several times, sometimes it solves itself.

 

There is a set of regular doors in the captain's lounge that you can use to get onto the roof. I just used that instead of bothering with the trapdoors.

 

Some of the doors are buggy on that quest. When you get to the point where you go onto the second ship, one of the doors doesn’t work unless you use a movement spell but works the other way round if you stand on the same block as the door when you press the button.

Also, there’s a bug where once you make the makeshift key, if you haven’t spoken to the prisoner and try to go through the door it will bug out and can sometimes tp you back to Ragni. Just a warning.

 

Also, as a warrior, you can get through the door without a movement spell, you just gotta press the button while moving into the door

 

Idk if this will help but try using 1.12.2, and also this has happened to me, but I just closed the door and reopened it and tried to not move toward the door but to the wall, I'm not sure what's wrong with the ladder as I didn't have problems, try closing and opening the trapdoor again?

 

I just tried to do that, and it just wouldn't let me up the ladders. No strange lag glitch like with the trapdoors, but it was like there were barrier blocks ontop of the ladder.

I was on 1.12.2 when it happened, switched to multiple different versions after and the same thing happened. Opening and closing the trapdoors didn't help either.
