First Time Discovering Wynncraft, Tell Your Story

Wow. Everyone write so much!

Well heres my short story...

My friend told me about the server... He was like level 6 when i started. We played mostly together, wasnt much fun to play it alone ,_, It went fast up until about level 27. Then i stoped for some time (no Idea why...) Then i came back, made new friends and had more fun... I mean farm than ever. I think i rekt all my friends and ended up about level 60... From there it was a pain in the as to farm, the only good place was the dead miner cave. I probably wasted days of time of constant farming. Then i finaly leveled up to 68 and pretty much got 75 the day after. I then got my archer to 60+ and got so tired of farming so that i for a year. Last spring i started to level up my other classes and soon they was all four level 75. Then i did guildwars in Fuq and TNA... Well that was more than just how i started playing...
Anyways, when i started i thought it all looked so amazing, and was amazed how they could so such a amazing thing.

 

Two of my Minecraft friends told me about it. I joined, and immediately quested to level 15, tying with the two friends. After that, I had to take a week off for secrets unknown. After getting back, the two friends were still at the same level XD and I immediately jumped to level ~30. I finally got to duel my friends, and they told me to meet them in Ragni. I was like "dude just come to detlas" and they were like "da heck is that" and then I realized they were noobs XD. I demolished them BTW. After that they quit and so did I for a while because Wynncraft was very grindy and still sort of is. You should be able to get to about the level needed for the next quest just by doing the quest and killing a few monsters if it's "go here and don't get lost" quests where you get lost (cough cough 75% percent of quests, even while using the online map!)

 

My cousin introduced me and I got hooked. I acted like an idiot and I became the 105467th level 75 mage. A few months later I thought "meh i'll join this forums place even though it seems dumb" and you can probably figure out the rest.

My story is that my friend told me about Wynncraft, I tried it out, and died a lot until I leveled up. At lvl 50 it grew boring because there weren't quests. So I dwelled on the forums until Gavel came.

I think it is safe to say we do not have any options and alternatives to this anymore...

 

So basically my friend Max and I were about to quit mine craft out of boredom maybe 2 years ago, but then he was on YouTube and he found a YouTuber who was playing this and thought it looked really cool and he was at my house so I went on my computer and re-downloaded mine craft and I added Wynncraft and loved it, but then my friend quit at like a really low level. But where I probably started my whole journey and what really hooked me, was when I went on and I got to around level ten when this guy shouted that he was looking for a huge party of friends to level to 75 together and I joined them. I became great friends with them all, but then they all slowly faded away and then that is probably when I met @TalkingKittyCat in Detlas with my first level 75 (Mage) and then @Broettinger , @thatswhatido , etc , and so I decided to stay.

 

I was on crafted movie and I saw a thread that the beta has opened so I started playing. I got to be highest nonconforming at lv 33 at one point, but I quit due to donor border. I came back and it was removed, so I donated around lv 50 and got 4th legit mage to 70. I met a bunch of people such as true forumers. Boom a lot of stuff and now the future the end.

IT WAS A NORMAL DAY ON THE PLANET OF FOLERIA. A YOUNG
ADVENTURERBY THE NAME OF xXDEVASTATIONXx STUMBLED ACROSS THE
SERVER THROUGH THE YOUTUBE APPLICATION. HE JOINED, CHOSE MAGE AND QUICKLY BECAME
A LEVEL 75 BOSS AND REKT EVERYONE. HE WONDERED, "HOW CAN I BE A BUILDER?".
SO HE THEN BEGAN TO MAKE RANDOM STUFF FOR AN APPLICATION
THAT HE WAS GOING TO MAKE. HE WAS GIVEN PROMISING. 10 TIMES. BUT THE 11TH TIME
HE GOT A PASS. HE FINISHED THE TRIAL IN LIKE 2 HOURS AND HAD TO WAIT 2 DAYS FOR HIM TO
BE CHECKED. AND THEN GAVEL CAME OUT

This was all back when I was called "imreadytorock"

One day, I hoped onto youtube, to find my favorite youtuber (at the time), AntVenom posted a new video. "Top 10 Games in Minecraft." I watched it, when I noticed that #2 was this server called "Wynncraft." An MMORPG in Minecraft? There was no way I wasn't going to check this out. I immediately called some buds to check out this server with me. We went to the website and read everything on the help section. Afterwards, we all made forums accounts, and then we played it ourselves. Me and @TempleOfLegends were mages, while @FlamingPinecone was a Warrior. At first we didn't quite get it, and one of my friends complained about no warps at first. We took a step out of the tutorial and I remember the first thing we heard was a song. This was the first time a server played a song itself. We were blown away and continued to play. We made it to Detlas, Nemract, and all the way to Troms. Flashforward around two years later and here we are now.

This has been my favorite server ever since.

 

I just saw and video and got on.

 

I loved CraftedMovie; how they make machinimas and generally their whole attitude for anything.
Once I saw a video called Wynncraft: The Ocean Update. That's when I fell in love with Wynn and started playing ever since 2013.

I used to have some friends on a server called...I totally forgot, but it was a skyblock server with the challenge plugin and stuff like that. It had a small website and store with donations, perks, items, ranks, all sorts of that stuff. When I first joined I was with a Mod or Admin, or some sort of staff. He was a really cool dude but was never on, so I was lonely. I ended up joining another island with more people, and had a bit of fun. Their names were something along the lines of: SenseiTechUS, NattasParrish, Marelina3, Pagegirl, Cookiesaurus24, Encense, AdoboandRice, Gingerswag, and a ton more. So basically I think it was some sort of argument, and the server split up, one of the owners taking the world's save file or whatever with him, and never using it, but anyway, the argument was heated and we stayed in a small server while we waited for the new one, and they sent spies and stuff into the website and server to see who's on who's side. Basically we got bored of that and Marelina showed me Wynncraft, and we played. I've never seen any of them EVER, besides SenseiTech on another server, and I have Nattas added on skype, but I doubt he remembers me. He doesn't respond.

Basically saw a friend play it, then played this for a while. Nothing really special, pretty ordinary.

My story begins with the end of a faction server.

My friend, who I recently became friends with on that faction server lead me astray to this place. Oh, how the lobby was completely different back then. I fell in love with this server. I remember how I chose my class. by the simple game, 'Eeny miney mo' I chose Mage. Look at where we are now. I found many friends, I struggled with some of them through old wynn level 60-68 grind. Those were the days...

I finally gather enough hype and signed up for the forums. Here We Are.

Been a proud member since 2014.

 

So to be staff here I have to start harassing players... Ok let's do it, I'll start pouring Legos all over their bedroom floors and moving their furniture 2 centimeters to the left and watch them stub their toes in it

 

Was waiting for a new Craftedmovie video to come out and saw a trailer for Wynncraft :P
