Final boss of wynncraft?

It’s not really about the order you fight the bosses. The only thing leading up to aledar and tasim is the quest they are in.

"Final" literally means "the last one"
That has nothing to do with anything but the order.

 

How come everyone is talking about what leads up to what?

 

Canonically the final boss (currently): The Eye
Final boss in terms of availability: Aledar/Tasim
Hardest/highest level boss: Greg
Canonically strongest boss: idk actually

 

The canonically "strongest" is Orphion. The entire Orphion phase of the ONoL fight you physically don't even scratch him, that's how powerful he is. You merely just knock the parasite off of him, who's causing him to unwillingly fight you.
The canonically strongest boss that is willing to fight you is The Nameless. Though The Eye is a part of the literal strongest thing in the canon, it's not in its home turf. It's in a reality that isn't it is an unfamiliar place. It is as alien to us as the world it's now in is to it. The Nameless, however, is basically allowed to let loose and go fucking crazy

yea. He's just not having a good time because of the parasite, and isn't exactly intending to hurt you

I think the main antagonist is the dern beast because it is causing imbalance, although it has no boss battle. The final boss that people fight could technically be any boss they want to fight last.

 

What about the Colossus? I get that you don’t actually hurt Orphion, but, like, this thing you fight at a significantly high level so you’re doing more damage and whatnot

 

you literally break its hands and knock its head off (which it likely repairs itself afterwards when its objectives are corrected)

 

Oh I thought it launched its head of its own accord

Thematically, the eye is definitely the final boss, as everything else after it is like an optional bonus thing. Gameplay wise, greg is definitely the final boss. This is, of course, only as of right now, and will change with new endgame content.
