Figure of Aer [rpg]

The figure stays quiet throughout the walk.

It takes you about an hour, but eventually the canopy city of Sylvia comes into view.

The figure leads you up the stairs around one of the trees. As you reach the bottom platform, a tall tower extends upwards. As you draw closer, the bustle of adventures reaches your ears. You head inside and see the giant stained glass window. Inside, a few of the people seem to recognize you, but once seeing the cloaked figure next to you quickly silence themselves.
He leads you behind the counter to an elevator behind the clerks, and motions you to follow him inside.

 

I'll silently walk out and follow his directions. However, before I go, ill examine the ship to make sure everything is normal. Then, i'll get on and go meet her.

 

(Probably isn't the best time to ask questions right now as asking anything important with random civilians nearby would be a problem)
I continue to follow them while looking around to see if theres any restaurants or food stalls

There are some stands, but the figure ushers you along before you can look at anything too closely. Once you reach the top of the elevator, the figure gestures to a bench next to a doorway. On the doorway reads: “Office of Era Sia, Eldest Daughter of 1st Branch”.
You wait a while, before a human, dressed in a flowing red kimono enters the hallway through the same corridor.

Nothing seems off about the ship. Once you take off, nothing of importance happens, although you do see a few cool looking animals (nothing worth noting). Eventually, the sea turns to river as the boat sails up it, with some magical power you don’t recognize. Then, the canopy city of Sylvia comes into view.

The captain of the ship leads you up the stairs around one of the trees. As you reach the bottom platform, a tall tower extends upwards. As you draw closer, the bustle of adventures reaches your ears. You head inside and see the giant stained glass window. You’re led behind the clerks to a magical device that transports you upwards through the tower.
As you reach the top, you see a very pale human sitting beside a doorway. On the doorway reads: “Office of Era Sia, Eldest Daughter of 1st Branch”.

As the silence grows long between the two of you, the door opens to a female elf, who looks around 18 (in human years). She peeks around the corner of the hallway, making sure no one is there, and hurriedly motions the two of you in as she scurries into the room. The room emits bright sunlight.

 

I go in the room while trying to cover my eyes from the bright light

 

ill walk in as well, but bend the light away from my eyes that way i can see

The sun isn’t bright enough to cause damage, but you do flinch a bit as she leaves the doorway. You duck your head under the short doorway and head inside. The elf speaks to you: “It’s good to see you arrived safely, Aberion! I was a bit worried some of the citizens would attack you, regardless of whether you were in the city or not. I hope Axiom didn’t bother you too much.”
Then she addresses the other person: “Hello Aphoria! I hope your travel accommodations weren’t too uncomfortable. I looked around for a while, but there wasn’t much I could do on that short of a basis.”
The room is bright.

I respond with a small nod, and ask "Now, why have you called me here?"

 

I look around the room as I reply with "Well it's nice to meet you too but before we ask anymore questions can you please tell us your name?"

 

Tsurumi Aberion @CrypticLucid Aphoria:
“They didn’t tell you? I’m Era Sia of First Branch. If you don’t know what that means, I’m from the original Sia family. You know, the family that owns this guild?”
Both of you vaguely recall the Sia guild, the largest guild on all of Aer, and the only one with permission to travel between the nations and their impossibly tight borders.
“Anyways, I’ve called you two here to meet each other, and potentially help me on a personal quest. Now, if you would introduce yourselves to each other?”

 

I nod, and introduce myself. "Aphoria, human."

 

"Very well, I am Aphel Maximin Aberion." I say as I turn to Aphoria while holding out my hand for a handshake

 

"Hello." I say as I accept your handshake.

 

i can tell this might become the void rift of 2022, good luck, and i might join
