You grab a few pens on the table next to you and throw them at Stable.
"Yo what the hell man? Why'd you do that?"

 

Cano charges stable with a tray in an attempt to knock him out

 

@CashorCard Cano:
The man swiftly dodges and uses your momentum to throw you to the ground.
You feel winded before standing up again.
He begins speaking into a small white device mounted on his collar. "Stable to Control, backup in Room 3 Section 1 Code LAV1. Do you copy?"
The device emits the sound of another person speaking. "Control to Stable, copy backup inbound to R3S1 Code LAV1. Subdue target by any means necessary."
"Stable copy." He then addresses you saying, "Just know you won't escape with such a fool hearted plan."

 

(OOC mb thought I responded) “Hmmm…” I trail off I my mind starts thinking. (@Jackkoh ball is in your court.)

 

(might be OOC) "Why are you looking for her?" I ask

 

“I would have assumed she was following me. She was running just ahead of me before the… explosion.”

 

I'll continue sticking with era, but continue looking for any clues about the boom

 

Cano reluctantly surrenders

 

"Where did the explosion occur?" I ask

 

“It sounded like it was behind me” (OOC i think im not sure if im turned around rtn.) “Investigate if you wish but I must find Whisper. I will not lose her again. Not like last time…”

 

I nod and search around the place

The room you two have met in is a long hallway. Decorated with an ornate red carpet, the hallway has windows every 15 feet along the eastern wall. Just ahead to the north is the small crossway you saw Whisper turn away from. The explosion came from the south. The west wall is a row of paintings depicted previous rules, and other important events in time.
There's nothing hidden here. Maybe somewhere else?

I say to Elduin, “Perhaps we should split up (OOC DMs love me) I need to find Whisper before anything.”

You could just follow where Whisper went lol. Also she still hasn't wandered back. oo an idea just hit me lol. btw, I don't actually plan much for this, I just type whatever the first thought that comes into my head because that how people who don't know what's happening in the world would act
