Also as somebody else suggested Corrupted buff should become exponential since its slowly becoming a cheap Rage buff and rewarded too much staying "half on hp"

Whirlwind nerf and Thunderclap buff cool things tho

 

A lot of changes, I will have to test them out.

nice, but I still won't use it. It is better to leave winded on enemies and land 2 meteors then to use time lock.

a noticeable difference, 25% less damage from winded. Yet I still don't think anyone is going to walk away from rift-bender. Hurts more then it helps at this point.

a 2% total damage buff. On a 2 block radius aoe. Not very much. If it actually works with winded and stronger meteor, it might be an improvement. Now that could actually pull some people away from rift-bender.

cause a 75% multiplicative boost is absolutely insane powerwise and the fact that this is seen as weak is evidence of other things being blisteringly overpowered and Sharpshooter lacking other abilities rather than focus actually being bad

Just to clarify, the Thunderstorm change in isolation does barely anything, but Breathless affects both Meteor and Thunderstorm. Thunderstorm having more hits means that the damage for Riftwalker will ramp up faster now, but Breathless being weaker helps keep Riftbender in check. It's a net buff for Thunderstorm + Breathless and a nerf for Ophanim + Breathless. Hopefully the damage the two archetypes deal will be more in line with each other now.

After this nerf to focus, i dont have any fun build to play as (i played heavy melee assassin which is clearly ASS ass in, moved to Sniper heavy melee Got nerfed 2 times . 25-20 and then 20 - 15 . there are like 5 sharpshooters left in this game.
why dont you just remove focus ? seems like the next logical step is 10% per hit...

 

everyone ignoring the fact that clones for assassin when dead do spin attack, and when combined with lacerate means they theoretically lacerate as well.

So how do we get the gifts from the NPCs we recruit? I found the 1st two in Detlas but they just talk to me, don't give me anything.

EDIT: nevermind. much like a Dark Souls NPC, you have to keep talking to them till their dialog starts to loop

 

Right now it is just uncomfortable. Pure Riftwalker has no point to melee other then to stack winded, which takes like 2 minutes in a boss battle and anything else dies in 2 meteors. Thunderstorm has to be pixel perfect, otherwise you loose half your damage. Personally I find it more interesting to mix abilities and make hybrid builds then be a pure Archetype. Also Thunderstorm feels like it does less for some reason. Might be my imagination tho.

Could you change thunderstorm so it always hits a mob inside the aoe of meteor? Could also make it select a random target inside the aoe for each lighting bolt.

 

Since you so kindly offered, here's my suggestion;

Picture this, an early assassin ability where it gives you +1% damage for every post made on the forums about the class needing buffs. Just like that, assassin is solved!

I know I'm a genius, no need to credit me but I expect to see my invite to the balance team within the next 48 hours :)

 

OK, I think the combat dummy dps is bugged. full Riftwalker meteors can be anywhere between 87k dps and 17k dps. that is 5 time difference.
