Exp gain seems slow...

Hello, Im playing a shadestepper currently level 36. I have read tha early game leveling is very fast and should take less than an hour, but im stuck between level 30 - 36 for almsot 2 hours of playtime now. Im running a full set of adventurers armor as well has abolition, i grind the spiders and spider tamers level 25& 28 at the foot of mount wynn. Am i doing something wrong or did i just misinterpret what fast leveling is.

P.S. can anyone recomended where i should be grinding for futures levels too? ive seen abit too much of a variety in locations.

 

You're probably used to the very fast exp gain from the double XP month and a half that was occuring before Fruma's release, which is no longer running. Also, if this is your first playthrough, my recommendation is to do quests, with caves and occasionally dungeons in between, as that should get you all the xp you'll need, as well as a lot of money and items.

 

Yes as he says. There are incredible side quests with good rewards und much better boss fights. So don’t try to rush so fast through the game, you actually miss good content that feels boring when you overleveling. Same for dungeons.

Some quest rewards are necessary for later to start or finish end game quests. So enjoy it, usually you climb faster than you think. Besides this they unlock some areas you can’t enter before finish the quests and they give some funny side quests.

Do also the caves on the matching level to your current one, you usually get good gear and don’t need to by some from the AH.

if you try to rush for the newest expansion, don’t: if you don’t understand the overall story and characters due to rushing it feels less immersive and you miss out some experience. Fruma is awesome and will be also in 2-4 weeks ^^.

 

As the other people who replied have said, I can't recommend doing quests enough, they're the core of wynncraft's gameplay.
That said, if you want to level up fast, you should try looking for grind parties in the pfinder, you'll level up much quicker in one especially if someone has totems or combat xp bombs.
