    I have had a lot of times that I die by fall damage as an archer since its the only class that can't use their movement spell in the air.

    My suggestion is that you can use escape in the air but when you do you don't get launched backwards,
    but still get the slow decent and shift to fall faster.
    This way archers can negate fall damage when they fall without leaping down everywhere with escape.

    Also it could be used offensively by using jump boost to use escape low above the ground to stun enemies.

    I love lootrunning CotL as archer and taking unavoidable fall dmg after those 2 chests.

    i mean, you can already negate fall damage with escape

    the problem is you need to time it precisely

    and if you think i have the brain capacity to do that. while i'm playing block game. the answer is no.

    also if you use a ws build the timing becomes more of a "spam the heck out of escape and pray" thing,

    so yeah, sounds cool!

    Actually yeah, its a nice way to handle this.
    At the very least, escaping mid air could negate fall damage, but having it also slow the player, and allowing them to shift on enemies as a normal escape would do sounds fine aswell.
