Endgame Gaia Mage/Dark Wizard Build

    I'm actively working to get the last few pieces for this build.

    my main question is - is 20k EH and only 14.5k health really enough for endgame content?

    It does about 8k on heal and has 300 life steal, but I'm concerned about spam healing not being able to keep up.

    also any advice on finding a party to run Legendary Island? The last 3 pieces I need are from there and the Breezehands from Qira.

    Is this supposed to be a poison build?
    Like what's the point of the build

    Has a lot of Poison and melee, I didn't fully commit to one or the other in all honesty; and spells being almost exclusively for utility.

    According to WynnBuilder it will max out at 22k DPS and 9k per poison tick depending on ID which realistically wont be anywhere near 100% max

    Cycle: meteor-ice snake.
    Sustains up to 4 spells a second cause of manastorm which is crazy

    I'm not sure which build would average more overall DPS although if your getting off a Meteor and Ice snake every second than the spell build would outpace the melee poison build.

    but it does seem to have much worse survivability at less than 10k EH and worse healing (although you can cast it more which would make it more even)

    also I did want a melee/poison build with this character anyway.

    this build can sustain up to 2 meteors and 2 ice snakes per second, so it just depends basically on how fast you click
    it should FAR outdamage your build, especially with winded- here's the damage with 30 winded (you get up to 60 with timelocked.) Screen Shot 2024-03-29 at 8.24.13 PM.png
    as you said, the one downside is subpar ehp

    slightly better survivability, but the sustain suffers a bit, and damage is very slightly worse

    Either way ehp shouldn't be a problem. It's got range, and ice snake will freeze any enemy without cci
    The strategy consists mainly of "melt everything before they can touch you"

    Poison kinda just sucks other than toxoplasmosis
    and mage is arguably the worst class for melee, having no real melee weapon outside MAYBE compiler and gaia- both of which get rather dps only really matching like level 90 warrior rawstack, which is quite sad
