    It was not fully simplified as there were variables and constants that could have been grouped.

    if you tried to differentiate the way you did, you would have to do multiple product rules, the way i did it you would only have to do it once (to each halves of the equation)

    y/ (2a sinθ) - a(cosθ) = 2x

    x = 1/2 * (y/ (2a sinθ) - a(cosθ) )

    ( 2a sin(θ) dy/dθ - (2 da/dθ sinθ + 2 cosθ a) ) / (8 a^2 (sinθ)^2) ) - (da/dθ) (cosθ) + a(sinθ) = dx/dθ
