This thread has singlehandedly caused me the second* most pain out of any thread in wynncraft ever
I thought Jenprest/talking mushroom was hard
then I had to do maxie/talking mushroom
now I have to do seaskipper/talking mushroom
and yahya/antiky
they just picked like my top 5 favourite characters and pit them against each other

Yeah actually I picked both of them - I just personally prefer Bak'al's character to Bob's, and Death is just kinda meh writing-wise imo

Only eight characters remain, so I guess I’ll give my thoughts on each one:
- Antikythera doesn’t surprise me, they've always been a popular character.
- Death may seem a bit unexpected, but I think they’ve always been liked by players who aren’t a fan of other characters. I’m surprised Qira was a loser here though, I expected her to at least reach the semifinals if not outright win.
- Gale is this competition’s dark horse. I thought for sure she’d lose all her matchups. The festival of the blizzard really did a lot for her character.
- Nice to see Theorick here. Goes to show that people like more serious characters too.
- Seaskipper won by a larger margin than I would’ve expected. This makes me think he’ll win overall.
- There’s something cool about seeing Bob, wynns first major character, make it this far.
- Im both surprised and not surprised Ava is in the top eight. I know she had fans but I expected her haters to be more active in voting.
- Aledar also is a surprise. I always had the impression people disliked him.

at least two of my favorites made it to the top 8, and death is a fourth favorite

 

The next round is gonna be heartbreaking for me. I love bob as a character, and I think he deserves to win the whole thing, given how much depth and mystery there is surrounding him. However, as a frequent seaskipper patron, it feels almost criminal to vote against my guy seaskipper captain. I truly have no idea who to vote for.
