World Eggs (13 Supporters)

I am almost 100% sure this suggestion will get no support, as no one I've told it to has liked it, and it's such a minor suggestion that barely anyone would notice it, but what the hell? I'll post it anyway.

So, as most of you may know, there are eggs in Wynncraft, and they can be thrown like in a regular old Minecraft world. The difference between a Wynncraft egg and a Minecraft egg, however, is that Wynncraft eggs deal no damage or knockback upon hitting an enemy, unlike Minecraft eggs, which deal no damage and normal knockback when thrown at a mob.

That being said, I think it would be fun for eggs to do the same thing in Wynncraft as they do in Minecraft: Dealing a single point of damage and some knockback when thrown at a mob. Again, this is a very small change and likely won't get any support, but I think it would be fun. Think of the fun you could have with eggs! You could go to an early area of the game with an inventory of eggs and see how many mobs you can kill, or duel another player at a high place with just eggs and see who falls off first. The possibilities are... Kind of limited, actually. But still, I think this would be a nice little detail.

I've heard some people say this would be overpowered, seeing as how this essentially gives every class a ranged attack. For those people, I have put "a single point of damage," in the above paragraph, in bold. If you still say this is overpowered, remember that most mobs have, like, 300 HP after level 30. I do not mean for eggs to be used as weapons. I guess you can technically use them instead of regular weapons, but it would be horribly difficult unless you have, like, 10 friends doing it with you. Although, that could make for an interesting teamwork-based playthrough...

Anyway, that's my suggestion for eggs in Wynncraft. Do you hate it? Probably. Vote on the poll!

 

Awful big paragraph you got there for something, as you have said, is pretty much pointless. If such a thing was actually proposed to the content team, it would probably be added without being mentioned in the update notes.

This is actually pretty interesting, considering the other ideas that have come around. Very original! +1

 

I don't hate it, but there is an issue.

Bring a few stacks of eggs to a low-level. Everything dies. The storyline and questing is ruined up to level 10-15 ish.


On another note, eggs don't do damage in vanilla Minecraft. They used to damage the Ender Dragon, but then that was removed, too.

 

Assuming "a few" is equal to 3, and "low-level" means level 3, which would mean they'd be facing Weak Zombies as the major threat, then they could kill exactly 6 Weak Zombies. 6. If "a few" means "an entire inventory," and they held nothing but eggs, then they would have 528 eggs, which is a lot, but definitely not enough to let them breeze through the game to level 15.

Oh, so they don't. Huh. I always thought they did. I seem to recall killing some chickens with them one time. Oh well.

 

Note that why would people just grind for eggs and use those, when they could just do the quest? This is honestly the least of worries...
IMO, the most worrying thing is people getting angry over a person using eggs on a low level in a duel, and killing them that way, even though the one using the eggs is like, assassin. And even then that would simply only be a minor complaint.
