its supposed to be a melee wand and with the first change its melee was still not good enough... furthermore your dps with using it in a spell build were still better cus meteor ._. so yeah it needed more than just the first change

 

well i mean 10k dps is pretty gud
and the spell thing didnt rly work cuz i was trying it out the indicator said like 8-10k dmg but it only did like 2-3k
aparently its smth to do with -rsd and like there was a bunch of --123123 dmg but the spell didnt rly work :/

 

i am aware of the negative raw spell but we still were able to make builds on GM in which the meteors outdid the melee dps... also i REALLY dont get why you are complaining now lol we literally gave Gaia a 5k dps dmg buff sooooooo i really dont see why you are unhappy .-. Furthermore the 10k you are talking about can be reached with spells by plenty of legendaries and this is a mythic so it kinda needed a bit more than legendary dmg ._.

 

well i mean im just saying yall should do some more testing instead of pushing all these changes and then changing it like not even a week later lol

 

we did quite a bit of testing actually it was more just that we were split in the team on how we should deal with gaia being trash and at the beginning we didnt want to go on a slower tier due to the massive 86% dmg boost from very slow to slow with tier attack speed but in the end this was literally the only way we could finally get some good dmg out of it. And i mean you should kinda be a bit grateful for the pushes because like... had there not been another map push you guys would have had to live with this for a lot longer. We actually had Lament and Gaia sorted out for getting a buff before @Adomorn even made his buff lament thread. We were just waiting for a push and werent able to leek that we buffed them (which was pretty frustrating ;D )

you would be amazed by the spell power of mage ;D well i hope we wont have to change it yet again... its not like we like making a fuck ton of changes to items as well since we know that its annoying for ppl. Thats why we try to edit reqs as little as possible.. that it breaks as few builds as possible.

 

you still cant do shit with mage tho if its got -1000% spell dmg...
not to mention hey guys gaia spell too op and you can still do ungodly amounts of damage even with -rsd reeee

-raw spell damage multiplier is invisible so its actually -4000 to -8000 damage coz meteor has a 4x spell multiplier

 

yet we still managed to get builds that do quite a bit of dmg on GM i dont remember the builds that we used but maybe @Pokextreme remembers the dmg... cus it was actually something that would be viable for spell which is why i remember that my reaction was "WTH DELETE MAGE °O°"
Edit: also you still havent told me why exactly you are so upset lol everything that you proposed was changes as well ^^ so basically you would have complained for the exact same reason. Fact is.. tier boosting slow is uncomparably bad and the only way to go about it is massively increasing the base dmg which can quickly go into the holy heck wtf we screwed up with too much dmg orrrr... well the previous gaia version... so lemme guess the reason why you are upset... your build doesnt get boosted to super fast anymore? ._. In that case i am sorry but there was no other way to give melee gaia a clean and neat buff.

 

ik how spell multiplier work but im actually abit confused by this cuz since rsd only adds neutral damage it stands to reason that it sholud only reduce neutral damage and in the same way that -poison doesnt heal/reduce damage -rsd shouldnt either, but it does apparently. also, nebur says that even with that it still does lots of damage or smth, but the -spell defbuffs havent actually changed, so imm jsut confused about that

with the current debuffs or -1000% spell dmg?
either way wut im saying is the -spell debuffs havent actually changed rly so :/

im not upset i just found it funny that you've changed the same item like 5 times in less than a month, and im just saying since you said you wanted it to be purely melee, wouldnt it have made sense to just give it a bunch of -spell damage. if -1000% isnt enough, give it like -10000% then :/

all you did was add another tier to boost from lmao ofc it would be better

anyway my current build doesnt but the damage is still about the same as before :\

the previous gaia wasnt even that bad tho, 10k dps is fine :/
it was just easier to get the same damage with +2 tier attack speed with like eido and compiler or smth but iirc the dps hasnt rly changed all that much (till now)

 

i dont have enough time atm for a proper reply but mind you... we added the 89% tier boost. Boosting from very slow to slow equals roughly 89% melee dmg i believe ;) so we didnt add JUST another tier to boost... we added THE tier to boost

hmm i guess in that case you should probably go tell salted.... there are many things that we would like to be able to influence/balance but we literally have no power over it. We (including selv) cant do anything other than work with the system. We can only propose changes to the system like you guys do. Other than that we just gotta deal with it and live with it
