The snakes in a box thing comes from when I was raiding a keep vault with a friend, and from one of the storage units has hissing coming from it, and we all knew it was snakes, but my friend opened it anyways.

Caligo (to everyone): "Hey, did anyone find anything about some keys? This guy seems to like keys a lot."

 

Heat stiffens up for a moment at the thought of Dwarves.
Heat: "I can! Wait a moment!"

I take the box with me upstairs to Yevor and Caligo.

Heat: "What did you need, Yevor?"

 

Caligo: "Heat, did you find anything about keys?"

 

Heat: "No, but I did find this box which is identical to the one that was on that table over there.."
"What happened to it? Did you open it?"

 

Caligo: "Yeah. There's four keys. There's also a lock on that door."
I gesture to the door on the clean wall.

 

Heat: "Interesting discoveries. Should I open this box as well?"

 

Caligo: "Sure, but be careful. We've got no idea what this guy's got hidden."

 

I carefully open the box. @SPYROHAWK

 

Ti'Lin:"I got a key."

Also... what the hell happened while I was gone? Some kind of fight or something. Someone got angry at Erevan.

 

Caligo: "Where'd you find it?"

 

Ti'Lin:"Around my neck."

 

Caligo: "What? When did it get there?"

 

Ti'Lin:"I don't know. I just found it by accident."

 

Caligo: "Show me it."

 

I asked why we keep Alas around, he claimed he had a letter, I asked to see it, he spouted some BS about Alfred soiling it, I called him out on it with a successful insight check, and we started arguing about morals, eventually deciding that we need to have an inter-party meet-and-greet/group therapy.

 

I show Caligo a key hanging around my neck. It's made of slate.
Ti'Lin:"This one."

 

I think for a few seconds.
Caligo: "So, you're telling me that you had a stone key around your neck?"
