Of course. Yevor can't read anything other than Common and Gnomish (and even that much is suprising, given how little formal education he had).

 

So basically we just use them as free mercenaries? Cool.

Could you make Gnomish relevant at least once in the campaign? Gnomes aren't that hard to use, with both Forest and Rock for setting variety.

You know that moment where you think you heard someone call your name but you arn't exactly sure if you hard it or not? Its like that. You think you hard something, but arn't sure.

I tend to forget the smaller races (Gnomes, Halflings, Dwarves {eh, not swarves so much}) exist... But I am pretty sure I've had MANY Gnomish merchants that could be spoken to in Gnomish for better results

But yeah, I can make them more relevant. Just... not in this town XD (for obvious reasons)

(Actually, I do have a spot coming up once you leave this town where I was just gonna have a generic human, but a Gnome might actually fit better...)

I'm not going to argue about it.

I climb on top of the box, and very slowly unhook the latch.

 

The latch comes undone, the lid is now no longer locked, ready to be opened

 

I go to the back of the box and slightly open in, seeing if I can get a good perspective on what's inside.

 

From what you can tell, the inside is red. There's some objects in it, but you can't get a good view from behind it

 

I open the box and look inside, ready to close it if something pops out.

 

OOC (to explain so you arn't mad about me being so vague about your hearing check) the objects in this box were not "objects in the box on the second floor" for me. They were "objects in the box that was opened first". That's why I was so vague about if you could hear the objects inside or not, incase someone decided to hop on and quickly open the other box.
