Random thoughts: What Magic: The Gathering colors would our characters be? So far, my guesses:

• Yevor: White/Green
• Kyelas: White
• Erevan: White or White/Red
• Alas: Black/Red
• Ti'Lin: Blue/Green
• Heat: White/Red
• Althaios: Blue/Red
• Caligo: Black

It's a DEX save, which an inanimate object would probably auto-fail. Your ruling, though.

Damage is 5 + 8 = 13 radiant damage.

I'm debating if that radiant damage actually does anything, but then again, radiant damage = laser damage so...

The door bursts into flames and promptly burns down, not affecting the rest of the house in any way

IDK. I'd put the DM as Colorless, especially since it's you, and Eldrazi are Colorless and Eldrazi == GOO.

I did make it clear you needed a stone key, right?

When Ti Lin tried to pull out his necklace, I told him in a PM it wasn’t there (you saw his reaction to that). In that same PM I told him that instead, hanging around his neck was a key made of Slate (if you don’t know, Slate is a type of stone).

In case he missed that part, I went on to quote that message twice between then and now, so I’m curious.

Is he playing that his character is so focused on the necklace that he didn’t notice the key, or did he totally not see that part?

He keeps his necklace tucked under his shirt. I assumed the key was in the same position his necklace usually is, which means no, you couldn’t have seen it
