Caligo: "I think it was pretty clear from the start that 'Magic Man' is pretty powerful. He's got several tricks up his sleeve, but it seems that he wants to play a fair game."
I hand the note back to you.
Caligo: "But the only real clue he's giving us here is 'In the place what is lost', which really could be anywhere."

 

Heat: "It seems that the party's two troubles have become one. I assume we have to find Ti'Lin's necklace to find the Magic Man and that makes everything a lot more convenient."
I look at my arm and rub where the knife was.
"A wall would have sufficed as a solid object."

 

Caligo: "It's more noticeable in your arm. Same thing with the door, but Magic Man probably wasn't taking his chances. Or just wasn't thinking too hard."

 

Heat: "I doubt the Magic Man isn't thinking hard about this whole situation. He has the perfect maze set up for us..
..and I'm afraid to say that we're his lab mice."

I store the knife in my bag.

 

Caligo: "You're being over-dramatic. We don't have to do any of this. How far are you going to go for a necklace that had some sentimental value, and that's it?"

 

Heat: "The Magic Man is related to the necklace. We are trying to find the Magic Man. They're both connected now."

 

Caligo: "I'm saying that lab mice don't get the choice of whether they want to run the maze or not. We do."

 

Heat: "The mice have free will just like us. They complete a maze for a reward. Which for us is finding this Magic Man."

 

Caligo: "...I think your experience with the study of the intellect of mice is vastly different than mine. Then again, I've only read about it, but I think it goes the same for you."

 

Heat: "I've only seen one mouse in the entirety of my deployment, and that's Eres' friend. As for reading, I would if I had any literature left from my home territory."

 

Caligo: "And I've read for days on end, stopping only for bodily function."

 

I'm gonna wake up now.

 

Heat: "What kinds of books?"

Caligo: "Nonfiction, mostly. Events, scriptures, codes to live by, how to kill someone, advancements. I liked to read fiction on my free time, though. There was a surprising amount of fiction books for a place that teaches you how to kill."

 

Ti'Lin:"Not really..."

 

Alas : *Wake up*
"Aaannnddd ! A wild Alfred appear !"

I should take off the invisible ring from Alfred someday ...

Also, I'm officially using the UA Ranger, with permission from God Emperor Spyro, which isn't awful. I also had to switch my favored enemy to undead because UA ranger doesn't allow elementals until level 6, though the benefits are much, much better. (However, I could keep my primordial)

 

Okami is there.
Yevor: "Morning."

One thing I don't like about UA ranger is that you can't get a pet velociraptor.
