Dungeons And Dragons Campaign [full] [discontinued On The Forums]

Well I'll be going Artificer -> Alchemist. So I can choose to use one formula to learn at lvl 1. One of those is a healing potion that heals 1d8 and that strengthens when I level.

 

Well, at least it's something. If my Fighter dies, I'll probably be playing a Life or War Cleric.

 

18 HP + 5 HP when we kill something + 2 healing potions.

... Not on my side XD

 

What would actually happen if you die in this campaign? Would you have to leave this chat, or not?

 

You need to roll some d20.
After 3 rolls > 10, you revive with 1 HP.
After 3 rolls < or = 10 you die.
If you become uncounscious once again, you will still have the rolls < 10 you did before.

If you die you can create an other character.

Don't worry, @SPYROHAWK is not a killer, not like someone else, @Florfy5 will understand.

@Florfy5 was going to die to a monster's attack, but then @SPYROHAWK retroactively said it was using a different attack that Florfy could dodge, so @Florfy5 didn't die.

 

Basically you roll a bunch. 10+ is success, 9- is fail. If you get 3 fails, you die. If you get 3 successes, you come back to life at 1 hp, but still have your fails.

If you die, you just kinda make a new character.

He has been down quite a bit

Ah yeah, the redcap. But TBH if he failed that he would have taken so much damage...

Don't Rangers have d10 Hit Dice? How low Constitution would Kyelas have to have to get one-hitted?

 

Ranges have a d10 hit die, yeah. But the redcap does a lot.

Normal attack (Sickle) does 2d4+4 and the Ironbound Pursuit (the one I changed to) does 3d10+4

So I changed it to give him another chance of survival, but he also would have been even more rekt if he failed.

Naw, he survived

 

Gotcha. Anyway, could you help me with the other things I need to add to the character sheet? Cause I don't know how to get all the numbers and stuff

Also @A_total_noob @Florfy5 I just realized I dont think I went over subclasses with you guys, did I?

Well, noob kind of already had a character, but Florfy needs to do that (new UA come out with more ranger sub-classes)

 

As for subclasses:
If you're talking about fighting style, I've picked Great Weapon Fighting. And for archetype, I think I'll choose Eldritch Knight once I hit Level 3.

I was talking about Archetype. Sub-classes are called different things depending on the class. Archetype, Oath, Order, Patron, Tradition, etc.

So yeah, Eldritch Knight is your thing then. Some classes get perks at level 1 from their sub-classes (Warlock, Artificer, Sorcerer, etc.) while others get things at levels 2 (Druid) or 3 (Basically every other class).

Ranger gets their stuff at level 3 it seems also, but I wanted to check in case it was one of the level 1 classes
