"What game?" He asks, in a deep voice

 

i pull out my dice set
Alth:"it's called 1424 so you roll 5 dice at a time and each time you have to set aside a dice to add to your score you can set aside as many dice as you want"
Alth:"the catch is that in order to have your score count you have to have both a 1 and a 4 set aside"

 

OOC I understood none of that


Man: "That's a little too complicated for me. How about this."

*he pulls out five dice of his own, each six sided, and two wooden cups*

Man: "We each roll our five dice, and cover them with our cups. We can look under our cups, to see what we rolled, but not the other person's. You then make guesses on the combinations of the results, of both your dice and the other persons."

Man: "So if you see that four of your dice rolled a three, you might say "six threes", guessing that two of my dice have threes. Once both people have declared, we lift out cups, and see who was closest."

Man: "If I win, I want 20 gold. If you win..."

He takes out a old book, bound with vines and with covers made of tree bark

Man: "...You get this spellbook."

So, after killing Kortassa, we went to the inn to sleep. Also, Heat and Yevor talked about your necklace, and Althaios is gambling for a spellbook.

...I forgot that Gnome Cunning is a thing (and overpowered). It would probably have made my saves against Phantasmal Killer easier...

The current scenario:
- Everyone except for Althaios and maybe Ti'Lin is sleeping, trancing, going into an inactive state, or otherwise resting.
- Althaios is in the tavern, somehow losing at gambling despite having magic dice that let him cheat.

Then Althiaos is the only party member awake.
