When I'm on my computer, I often have to flip between this and a discord server I'm on, so I don't want the extra activity.

One time, when both the discord and campaigns were very active... That was fun...

I low-key try to keep other campaigns I run in the same world, as long as they fit (so no, not Guzzle).

So the level 20 campaign I run for a few of these guys actually features Kortassa in one of the guy's backgrounds, and if the party goes to the right plane, they may end up meeting the source of the Undead Plague in this campaign, or actually entering it.

Also, 2 of the earth elementals exploded, dealing damage to nearby creatures, and the third is badly damaged (now do you see why I had to throw you off?)

Paragon monsters are basically a spin-off of Legendary Monsters that have multiple health pools. They also take as many turns in a single round of combat as they have health pools. Once a health pool goes away (reduced to 0) is can't be brought back via healing, and the Paragon Monster looses it's turn given by that health pool.

It's basically like a multiple-phase boss fight, as some gain abilities when they loose a certain number of health pools.

Ok, yeah, right.

So Luck is used for doing this by pure chance.

For example, if you lose the party. You can't see through the whole town, so perception won't work. Systematically searching will take too much time, so Investigation won't work. Blindly wandering and hoping you get lucky? There's no roll for that.

And hence, luck.

Luck works as any other ability score but has a lesser impact on the game. If it's not used too much, I may remove it. Anyway, it's used for like if you are playing a game of chance, blindly guessing, or doing stuff like that. I halflings (who have the Lucky trait) and people with the Luck feat MAY or MAY NOT get advantage on Luck checks (idk tho, that may be buffing Caligo too much).

There's no Luck saves, nor ability checks associated with Luck, just straight up Luck checks.

Luck works like all other ability scores, with the actual score and the modifier. Everyone started with a base of 10 luck modifier.

Unlike other scores though, Luck is dynamic. You don't increase it with ASIs. A NAT 20 increases the stat by 1 (or if you have abilities that make you crit on a 19, stuff like that also counts) and a NAT 1 decreases the stat by 1.

Yeah, we had to read it for school. It's written like a fiction novel, but it's entirely true.

But yeah, maybe someone else in the group has read it. If someone has, I'll explain why I'm asking (if no one has, it doesn't matter)

The ONE TIME I actually need to roll good characters...

I rolled 3 characters.

One was fine, the other two were HORRIBLE!

None of their stats are over 15, and there's three that are less than 10!

And this WOULD be ok if it was just me making character, but no...

This is for a freaking English Project that's like 20% of my total English grade for the next 2 years...
