I really suggest buying more maps soon so you don't need to always wait for Erevan.

Once you see the map, it may change your decisions.

So I looked on the map and saw 'here be bandits' between Cassano and Milltown. Aren't we suppposed to avoid the bandits if we head to Milltown?

But that camp is not on any of the roads, it's in the middle of the desert. You can go there if you want as a side quest thing for loot and reward, but you don't have to.

Milltown is north though. I would figure with your fascination with dragons you would want to go south, where Stilon said the dragon(s) live(d)

Must've missed that... However, it does take us quite off-route... Perhaps Stilton wouldn't be a horrible idea, we may be able to get dragons on our side.

Now remember, although there are roads, you don't necessarily need to follow them.

There's different encounters on road and off road, but I think the on-road ones tend to be easier.
