Heat is heading west with the group because the city he was staying in got blown up and he definitely doesn't want to return to the Dwarves.

*Runs to catch up with group*
Althiaos:"Can somebody explain what I missed?"

 

Erevan (reflectively): "You know... I've seen many strange things in the past day or so... A manifestation of Death itself, a city torn asunder by a man with tarot cards, a pig-demon taller than a house, a monstrous lobster with tentacles, giant water serpents... and now a demon-child crying tears to true regret."

By the way, one may notice that Erevan seems to flip-flop between sounding like a melodramatic sage and an irritable teenager. This is deliberate, I play him this way to reflect that while he's lived longer than many humans ever will, he's not even old enough to have received his adult name and is about 17-18 by relative age.

 

Heat: "You would tell great military stories."

 

Makes me think of Eladrin (the UA version, not the DMG version)

 

Ti'Lin:"Okay... Alice this is Caligo."
