Well, I'm not entirely aware of the situation OOC, so can you explain what my move would be?

So, I have not been active on this at all, due to 2 other campaigns, but it is actually my turn, so...

Erevan turns around and flees from the lobster thing (dash action).

Assuming the obelisk transports me successfully, I'll continue to run (still avoiding the dark sand on the floor, btw).

Spoiler: Read this First

Let's fast forward a bit, shall we. You all run as best you can to get into barrels and exit, but you are not fast enough. The whole area starts crashing down around you, and you jump into the water. The currents caused by the falling city pushes you through the water tunnels. The "arrow-fishys" turn towards you, but whoever has the Fish Bait looses it in the process, which distracts all them. You get flooded out of the city, where you all black out.

+500 xp each, and gain a long rest

Kyelas and Yevor find themselves standing in a room. Not really standing... It feels like floating, yet your feet touch the floor. It feels like a dream, yet you both have it. You both see each other, and observe the room. It's just solid grey, with a white and gold figure slouched in the corner.

Luxarik: "I... I was wrong"

You both, out of no free will of your own, but out of the dream compelling you, come closer to him.

Luxarik: "When I sent you on this quest, I told you something. A Dark Goddess was creating an undead army. Oh! How naive."

He sheds a golden tear.

Luxarik: "I was wrong. The power I felt... It must have been from another God! But... nay. The threat is worse. I'm an unholy pact between two mortal who have become immortal. One, a true mortal turned true immortal. The other, a true mortal who fakes immortality, yet has mastered undeath itself."

Luxarik looks at both of you, and you feel helpless. It's stronger than anything you have ever felt, this god so broken.

Luxarik: "It... It's worse than I thought. Please... Fix it..."

And with that, Luxarik, the room, and yes, even yourselves go up in a wisp of smoke.

Spoiler: Read this Last

Stabber, Heat, Erevan, Ti Lin, Alas/Eres, Althaios, Alice, Heat's hellhound, and Kinte all wake up on a muddy beach, under a bridge.

Still laying in the mud are Yevor and Kyelas, unconscious. Next to them is the dead body of a humanoid fish.

After a while, Yevor and Kyelas wake up too, but Booka remains still as death.

The position of the sun tells you that it's early morning. You are on the west side of a river, on the muddy banks of a swamp. Directly to your north is a large bridge spanning east over the river, to a city of rubble and ash.

 

Alas : "That was a good night ! I feel better !"

 

Heat: "You are an idiot. That was terrible, I feel frozen and Booka is dead. What happened to him?"

*Heat gets up and holds the hellhound*

(btw I thought Booka was unconscious, did he finally die?)

 

Ti'Lin:"Ugh... my fur is all wet and sticky. Eeew~."

Yevor: "Wha... What happened?"
Yevor sits up and looks around.

Wow, Yevor still hasn't used a spell slot at all throughout the entire campaign.

 

Kyelas: "I'm... Not sure. I remember us trying to escape the hideout, but now... What was that dream?"

I stand up and look around.

Kyelas: "Oh god, I forgot! The undead have breached the bridge! We need to hurry."

 

Ti'Lin:"Dream? What dream?"

 

Kyelas: "It's complicated. Basically, I had a dream involving Luxarik. It was... Strange."

 

Ti'Lin:"Explain it."

 

Kyelas: "I... Didn't really understand it... I need a minute to figure it out."

 

Ti'Lin:"Take your time. I'm just gonna clean myself."
*I walk over to the river and clean my arms*
