OOC Yevor: "Sie... Malum... Ventus... Viriditas!"
The OOC characters are transported to a small, sandy mountaintop, and several dire tumbleweeds face them. Roll for initiative.
(I'll make a battle map for this.)

OOC Yevor: "You can head back now."
OOC Yevor: "Also, we're fighting dire tumbleweeds I summoned."

 

OOC Heat: "I don't know who that guy was, but he looked funny."
"These tumbleweeds will die a painful death."

 

OOC Yevor: "...Just roll for initiative."

I'll be continuing the battle log in the Turn Stater. Anyway, the Dire Tumbleweed Chief goes first, then OOC Heat.

 

Apparently forums haven't been working for Spyro.

I run over to Dire Tumbleweed 3 and hit it with my warhammer.

To hit: 15+3+2=20

Damage: 4+3=7

 

That explains alot

 

Oh.

Your hammer smashes into the tumbleweed as it attempts to roll away, making a large dent in the tangle of vines.

The dire tumbleweed rolls away, toward the mountaintop's edge, and two twig arms sprout out of it. Evil-looking eyes appear in the tumbleweed as it holds one of its arms up, and a small flame appears in it. It then hurls the flame at Heat, and makes an odd screeching noise.
Attack Roll: 14 + 3 = 17
It fails.

OOC Yevor rushes at Dire Tumbleweed 2 and attempts to cut at it with his sword.
Attack Roll: 19 + idk = hit.
Damage Roll: 6 + 3 = 9
Yevor cuts through many of the twigs, leaving a large gap in the screeching tumbleweed.

Dire Tumbleweed 2 spin-dashes at Yevor, still screeching.
Attack Roll: Natural 1.
It falls on its side, having turned into a disc. It is now prone.

Dire Tumbleweed 1 rolls far away.

Ti'Lin's turn.

Damage: 4 +1DEX =5 (+3crit) =8

 

You cut the tumbleweed in half, and it dissolves into smoke.

The Dire Tumbleweed Chief opens its dark, smoky maw, and lets out a tremendous roar.
Chief: "You will meet a painful end upon our twigs! WRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
OOC Heat, OOC Ti'Lin, make Wisdom saves.

OOC Yevor also takes 19 thunder damage/frightened.

Heat: "That tickles.. hehe."
I move towards D.T. 2 and attack with my warhammer

Damage: 8+3STR=11

Also, does disadvantage apply to the hit roll AND the damage roll or only the hit roll?
