No but the hound just came up to me despite me being away already. So it didn't follow me which it had been doing all along

It's a a prison. The roof is once again held up with pillars. Many cages fill the room, two of them filled with moaning pig-like creatures.

At the end of the room is a GIANT cage carved into the rock. It's front has iron bars on it and a big creature sits in the shadows.

 

I head south as well... I assume that's what I see, too? Or would my description differ due to having higher PP?

The room is as you last saw it. Piles of gems, pillars holding up the ceiling, giant throne. The gargoyle is gone from the throne, and a bandit is sleeping on the ground.
