Basically, chases are encounters, just with a few extra rules about running out of stamina that you don't have to use.

 

So you roll a d20 and add your DEX modifier.

I'd say roll 3 checks (you and @Nem each), add it all up, and whoever gets higher wins. Either you escape

I would do it that way if it was a serious chase with obsticals and stuff, with the possiblity of the enemy getting away legitly. Here its just a BS thing I think
