I came up with a new idea for a character! A High Elf Rogue with the UA Swashbuckler subclass who runs in, hits the enemy with Booming Blade, and then runs out, so if they try to come to him, they get hit with the Booming Blade damage.

 

High elf could work or so could variant human with magic innate.
