Out of curiosity would it not be easier to cast predistation on one of Alas's bolts to save a spell slot

Yeah. I mean, a third campaign shouldn't be too hard.

I could DM and not be too mean... Just set stuff up so each character has one specialty... Like a tank, glass cannon, healer, generic caster, etc...
