No locks, but you see Yevor (thats the name, right?) trying to pry open a door with his sword and then get knocked back.

The librarian gives you and evil eye and goes "SHHHHHH!"

 

"Do you need any help? I found a key."

If there's a keyhole, I try to unlock the door.

You insert the key, turn it, and hear a "click"

 

"Oh?"

I'll open the door slowly and peek inside.

 

There are stone steps leading downwards. Torchlight fills the passage.

 

"Cool! Let's see what's inside!"
*I step into the area beyond the door.*

I walk down the stairs, making sure there are no traps by making sure my steps don't trigger anything.

 

I am going to assume @Aksis follows you.

At the bottom of the stairs is a flat stone wall with a button on it.

(@Florfy5 did you also go down the stairs?)

 

*I start slowly walking down the passage, cautiously carrying my sword.*

The stairs lead stright down at a 45 degree angle with a stone wall at the end holding a buttton

 

"A button. Let's see what it does."
*I press the button.*

 

"Are you sure about this?

 

The wall opens up revealing a hole in the ground. The stairs go flat so you all slide into the hole.

You land in the middle of a circular room all on top of each other. There is a pedestal with a book on it. There are also 4 doors with markings above them.

 

"(laughs) Probably not, but I'm doing it anyway."
