Oh, on the subject of spells, light clerics get fireball at level 5 as a domain spell... yeah, that 40 foot wide AoE may be a problem for some of our party members...

That's why you need to be careful. Only Evocation Wizards, Sorcerers, and I think War-Mage Wizards get the ability to pick and choose who is effected by their spells.

In fact, you need to be careful too, the caster is also subject to the spell if in the radius.

It's from the Wizard Revisited UA. The Arcane Tradition is called War Magic and people in that are War Mages

However I just read it again and it does not have that ability, so just Sorcerers and Evocation Wizards
