It think it has something to do with either increasing AC or lowering the damage taken when covered

So, Alfred is at 6 or he play at the same moment as me ?

 

It seems that unlike Flofy's wolf, Alfred counts as part of your turn. Having him attack (which only does 1 damage) uses up your action

Just found this sentence in "Find Familiar" page which is the ability I earn :
"Your familiar acts independently of you, but it always obeys your commands. In Combat, it rolls its own initiative and acts on its own turn. A familiar can't Attack, but it can take other actions as normal."

When I continue to read this page I realize that anything I will do with Alfred will count as an Action ._. A bit useless ._.

That's for normal find familiar. Warlocks get it special that the familiar can attack, although that's not useful except if you have one of the warlock-special familiars that actually do good damage

I think seeing through his eyes is a bonus action, and I don't think it has a range

So from what I just read :
- I can use a spell through Alfred.
- Alfred can attack, but I will not if so.
- Seeing through his eyes will take away an Action.
- He roll is own initiative, so he is at 6... RIP... I'm at 20...
- I can talk telepathically to him.

So the looking through eyes thing is not really for combat. Let's say your gonna sneak into a enemy fortress, you can send Alfred in, look through his eyes, and telepathically tell him where to go

Also that link is special weapons. It means blindsight, darkvision, etc
