These guys have the same CR as the Darkling Elder from that other town, less than the Redcap. Only problem is the number of them.

Just hope Alas is not an idiot and pulls Arms of Hadar or something and kills you guys instead. However, they would 100% fail that save, but take very little damage.

 

If he does that and I survive, Kyelas will probably kill him. Literally.

Is CR Combat Ratio?

So this is effectively a CR 10 battle. Last battle was a CR 11 battle with the dragons being CR 2 and the cultist being CR 7

Once again, I probably balanced this too hard (I think CR supposed to equal total party level, so you should actually be good?).

But wisps are more tricky than strong, so they may run away if too many die

 

Good to know... I need to figure out how to hurt them. All my weapons are piercing.

 

Telling you would be cheating, but I can give you a hint. There is one basic fact about them you have been getting very wrong.

Other than magic/silver weapons, there's only two types of damage it's not resistant or immune to. One of them nothing is resistant to, the other one is the tricky one.

Arms of Hadar hits everything in radius. The only classes that can control their hits are Evocation Wizards and Sorcerers (careful casting metamagic)

I don't think you can hit multiple. I think there is some kind of splash damage rule, but it's a variant and I don't know from the top of my head.
