This is me being a dunce DM. I rolled the dice, and he passed the save. But it was not a roll, it was just kind of a drop. So I rolled until it actually rolled (did not want to for a while, kept sliding and dropping. Finally rolled, and failed the save.

The cultist just falls on the ground cracking up. For some reason, the cultist found what you said funny. Really funny. It falls on the floor and starts rolling around, completely cracking up with laughter

Maybe one of you should use his turn to revive someone. (Not me, I'm more useful outside battle even if the story of my character is based on being able to fight. (I hate my luck with rolls...))

Divination Wizards get to roll 2 dice during rests. Then they can replace rolls with those dice later.

For example you roll a 18 during a rest, you can replace an ally's saving throw with that 18 at some time. Or if you roll a 2, you can replace an enemy's attack roll with that 2

 

Just wanted to point out that DM is supposed to be GM. I got a little confused there.
