An old man enters the inn. He has a grey-white long beard, and a perforated brown clock over his muddy clothes. He carries a wooden staff for walking, the top of which is bisected and curls on opposite directions. He looks up with weary eyes, and says loud.

"I'm sorry to bother everyone, but I'm looking for someone who I was told might be here."

 

I don't answer him, but I do move somewhat protectively in front of Ara Rou.

 

"That is fine, I apologize, but it would simply be better if the boy tagged along with us. Maybe he would learn something about doing good around here."

 

I discreetly move my hand toward my sword.

"Who might that be?"

 

"Oh, ok."

"What business do you have with him?"

 

"Do I have your permission, sir Pablo?"

 

"I've been looking for him for quite some time. He was lost, you see, without realizing it. Recently he was found, and so I came."
