"Looking at maps of the region and reading them, they are discribing an area known as The Skull."

"In the books, it is discribed as a powerful fortress made out of bones. Walls of atleast 75 ft in height. Dangerous grounds, known as the Crags surround it, housing dangerous fungi, poisonous fogs and numberous of sinkholes hidden from the eye. There is a place called the Encampments, which purpose seems to change with every new warlord. I believe it was mostly a place for people to stay, any overflow being sacrificed for rituals. Right in front of it, a large cavern serving as the Skull's last line of defence. Numberous bodies were thrown in here as a way of disposal of the dead. Of course, if you want to read more, you'd have to do so in your own time."

"And to top it all off, a mysterious figure has written these books, or atleast was in possesion of them. They have hinted at Kortassa who she was friends with and have given us clues, hidden in text, that lead to other books. In our last find volume, they told us that if we found the sixth volume, we could be able to figure out who they are. They have told us about how a high priestess betrayed or abandoned a church, which was just reffered to as The Church."

Ti'Lin sighs for a moment.

"So.. there are a few reasons as to why these books are important. One, the probably most important one, is that we want to investigate this old fortress. With all the danger that surrounds it, it would be a perfect place to use as a means of protection while someone were to cause chaos. The current undead problem for example. Reason two, myself and probably some others in our group would like to find the missing volumes as well as their writter or owner. And three, I like to read books, so the more the merrier."
Ti'Lin smiles after that third reasoning.

"So if you have any information regarding any of that, I would greatly appreciate it."

We are moving onto Night 1. I'm assuming most people sleep, but does anyone do anything else during the night?

 

I'm gonna dig deep into my mind and try to remember if I ever read anything about this Church named in the Volumes of the Skull.

Heat is still in Maddie's shop overnight(?). Assuming I rested there, I check up on the repair progress and just general surroundings to see if anything's happened.

 

I wanna go to the town hall and talk to the mayor. But eat some first, of course.
