I read that Lilith was homosexual, so I don't think she did anything [CENSORED] to Eudicius. Unless Eudicius is a girl.

Lilith is not an official archdevil in DnD cosmology, so it's open for interpretation. The way we designed her was the generic devil of lust, clothed in darkness, pretty lady with red skin and black hair, kind of deal. In the way we did it, she was not homosexual (although I would see why if th devil of lust would be bi)

He made some stupid choices and tried to talk to a pirate captain. He made a deal with Lilith that if she gave him info (which ended up being incorrect anyway), he would be the one to kill the pirate captain, and onland AFTER some dark ritual was completed (the party was trying to kill him before the ritual).

What ended up happening is Edicius (being insane) tried to make a deal with the pirate captain to spy on the party for him, only to double cross him after the ritual. What ended up happening is he went to the pirate ship, and got knocked out by the pirates. They brought him to the captain's chambers, and the pirate captain was not interested.

The captain had a pet vilociraptor (I called BS on that until a Dino island turned out to be part of the campaign) and set it to eat Edicius. With his dying breaths, h called out for Lilith's aid. Instead, she refused to help him, making the pirate captain her new champion, and so Edicius died.

The DM decided due to the patron turning on him, and the unjust nature of his death, he could come back as a Reverent. All reverents have goals assigned to them, Edicius's is to slay Lilith.

I have two female characters, a changing (child of a human and doplganger, basically a shapeshifter) rogue and Yuan-Ti (snake person) sorcerer. I have not played as either of them yet.

Also his ressurection fits his name perfectly. Edicius means "to give ones self new life". Read it backwards to understand why.

 

'Edicius' backwards = 'Suicide'. Clever. I'd make a female character as well (because playing as the opposite gender is somewhat fun), but I'm too lazy to make a third.

Either way, I'm glad I'm not patron to Lilith. She cares so much about her followers, doesn't she?


I guess being an Aasimar is safer than being a Tefling since the god is more likely to care about the character's life. I mean, when Edicius died, Lilth basically said, "Lol screw you, I don't care about you anymore", but Luxarik gave me that potion.
