Well Heat knew she knew it was Kortassa's, so there's no point in trying to lie to her.

Heat readies the maul.
"If this Dao lord wasn't a good person, why do you feel anger as a result of her death? If you must only complete her final request and nothing more, why is her demise a tragedy to you?!"

She sighs.

"I did not especially like Kortassa, but I still owed her a great deal... I would be nothing without her gifts. If you killed her in your own defense, I can understand, even if I can not approve. But stay your hand now, or you will regret it sorely."

 

Ti'Lin:"What did you owe her?!"

 

"She manifested herself in the outskirts of a town we passed through and attacked the group."

Ti'Lin:"We were exploring the windmills. So yes, at random."

 

Alas : "A magic ward was trapping creatures in a city, some of them were innocent, as de were trying to set it off, we met her in what was a bandit cave she was the master, she didn't want to let us go, so we had to fight, we won the first round to escape that cave. When we setted off the ward her and her crew destroyed the city entirely, it was Seneca, she later tried to take revenge on us from when we suceeded to escape the cave, she trapped us into a windmill and attacked us with multiple Earth Elemental, she ended dead of this fight.

I think it enters in a the self defense part."

 

I've actually kept changing what the 6th book is about, so...

Not so critical? I think it mainly presents a secret passage into the fortress or ways to get around some traps

Also, everyone from my Adventure Roll group will know what to expect when I said The Encampments are filled with traps
